All translated content created in other translation apps that use the Shopify Translation API (such as Shopify Translate & Adapt, Transcy, T-Lab, etc.) can be seamlessly migrated and used immediately in Langwill.
However, products like Weglot and Langify, which do not integrate with the Shopify Translation API, cannot support migrating translations. You will need to use Langwill to re-translate the content.
How to Migrate to Langwill?
1. Install Langwill and follow the onboarding guide to add languages.
Langwill will automatically sync languages you’ve added in other apps. Simply click Translate to proceed.
2. Translate or Sync the language you want to migrate
Option 1：Click the Translate button:
After clicking the Translate button, Langwill will sync existing translations from other apps without overwriting them and any untranslated content will be auto-translated.
Note: Translations migrated from other apps do not consume your word quota.
Once translated, simply go to the Edit Translation page to view the content.
Option 2: Click the Update form Shopify button, in Mange Translation page:
Click the Update form Shopify button, Langwill will instantly sync all translations from other apps.
Once synced, simply go to the Edit Translation page to view the content.
